Early last year, the Internet exploded over  #TheDress debate. Surely you remember the national nightmare, involving the viral photo of a dress that divided the internet into two sides over the true color of the design: blue and black or white and gold.

And because life would be a bore without the opportunity to participate in viral Twitter arguments, #thedress seems to be happening again in the form of #mybag, a baby blue Kate Spade handbag that appears to be white in a photo.

When Twitter user @whyofcorso uploaded a photo of her brand new blue bag, a commenter referred to it as white. So naturally, when she replied, stating that it was in fact blue, the confusion commenced.

But the difference with this situation is that this time, there’s no real reason to argue. Based on the fact that the owner of the bag claims that it is in fact “mystic blue” — and it is still available on Kate Spade’s website — we know the true color. The exposure of the photo is just too bright, causing the light blue shade to appear white.
