(Please ignore that coal-jobs are disappearing because 1. automation means that less and less people are mining more and more coal, 2. nobody is buying coal because oil is cheap. Trump has not offered any ideas how to actually bring back coal-jobs.)
He will build a wall and Mexico will pay for it!
(As WaPo reported, in spring 2017 Trump called President Nieto and begged him to stop saying he won't pay for the wall and to pay for at least half of the costs. When this was reported, spokespeople of President Trump downplayed his promise of building the wall as empty campaign-talk: Nobody could have seriously expected that Trump would actually build a wall and Mexico would actually pay for it.)
He will rebuild infrastructure!
(His infrastructure-bill would effectively sell public infrastructure to private investors AND do so at a discount by rewarding them with tax-credits on top of it. Doesn't seem like a good deal...)
Trump left the Paris Accord because it's a bad deal! He will negotiate a better one!
(By the time US can effectively leave the Paris Accord, Trump's first term is already over. Also, he has not taken any steps to negotiate a better deal.)
Putin kicks 750 diplomatic staffers out of Russia. Trump tries to save face and responds in the meekest way possible and says "Thank you."
At a political protest, a driver runs his car into a group of counter-protesters, killing one and wounding 17.
Trump refuses to call it terrorism.
Trump blames both sides without getting into specifics.
Trump doesn't take any questions and flees from the press-conference.
