This time last year, she was working part-time as a maid, 'scrubbing floors after completing photo shoots,' she recently confessed.
But Tabria Majors looked a million miles away from that life on Wednesday, as she stormed the red carpet at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue party in New York.
Finally celebrating her rightful place on the pages of the coveted 2018 title, the 27-year-old Nashville-born beauty - who was discovered in a global talent search on Instagram - made quite the showcase of her jaw-dropping curves.
Working it: Tabria Majors celebrated her part in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue on Wednesday night, as she attends the launch party in New York
Proving that the curve queen is never too far from a swimsuit silhouette, she picked out a sheer gown that flashed right through to a sexy red bodysuit.

She left little to the imagination in floor-sweeping lace that exposed her bodacious behind as she worked the cameras outside the venue.
Turning to reveal the thong aspect of her lingerie-inspired garment, Tabria put her the focus on her red hot curves.

And in the front, the model also made a showcase of her eye-popping chest by going braless in a super-plunging neckline.
Tabria has joined one of the most diverse groups of models to feature in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which has this year put the focus on empowerment.
Announcing her part in the issue last week, Tabria explained that this time last year, she was 'constantly questioning if this “modeling thing” was going to work out.'
She wrote: 'I cannot believe that I get to be apart of this great legacy that is @si_swimsuit! Thank you @mj_day and the SI team for taking risks and being a champion for diversity.
Showing off: She span around to reveal the backless part of her dress on the red carpet
'I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and want to remind everyone to always believe in yourself, trust the process, and never give up.' ⠀⠀
Tabria - who now has 698k social media followers - was selected to model for the magazine from an Instagram submission she made just nine months ago, under the hashtag '#SISwimSearch'.
In the global hunt to find new talent, just 35 finalists were invited to Swimsuit Illustrated's Brooklyn offices for an in-person interview and photo shoot and the shortlist was narrowed to 15.
After making it into the final six, Tabria was specially selected as part of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2019 rookie class.
Red hot: She looked scorching in a plunging gown, under which she went braless
Tabria admitted that she gained 50 pounds since my freshman year of college but feels more confident in her body than ever, and regularly feels inspired by her fans on Instagram.
She explained to Sports Illustrated: 'I get amazing, positive feedback from women about how my pictures inspire them to put on a bikini or inspire them to workout or whatever it may be.
'If it’s helping somebody out, if it’s boosting someone’s confidence or if it’s just showing everybody that bigger women like to dress sexy as well then I am going to continue doing it.'
She recently praised the magazine for not 'isolating' the curve girls from the types of models who are regularly used to model swimwear.
Here we are: This year, Tabria joins such models as (from left) Olivia Jordan, Allie Ayers, Haley Kalil, Camille Koste, and Iyonna Fairbanks
She told POPSUGAR: 'They don't isolate the curve models. We're all together. We're all great women going through this journey together, and it's all about uplifting and empowering one another.' ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The same cannot be said for every brand, Tabria has noticed, because last November, she blasted lingerie brand Victoria's Secret for excluding plus size models from their annual catwalk show.
She used her well-followed Instagram account to share pictures of herself mimicking the underwear models, raising awareness of the fact that she looks just as good.
She wrote: 'Maybe I’ll be a Victoria’s Secret Angel this year for Halloween, since it ain’t happening in real life.'
'Just paying homage to a few of my favorite pics/outfits from VS here and showing that curvy girls can rock (and sell) lingerie just as well as straight size models.'
Watch me work it: The model has been celebrating the magazine, saying that she is pleased curve models are not 'isolated' in the issue
